two "stories" to address this theme.
literally and figuratively.
Superficiality.
-Shallow is even more derogatory because it implies not only a refusal to explore something deeply but an inability to feel, sympathize, or understand.
- suggests alack of thoroughness or attention to detail (: a cursory glance at the newspaper), while hasty emphasizes a refusal or inability to spend the necessary time on something
scene 1 : literal.
subject matter : a book called Chicken Soup.
-cutting of food, eg onions, 1.carrots, 2.chicken bones
1.skinning the carrots or chopping the onions can show the kind of layers that i wanna show, the "inner/interior".
2.bones - are already counted as the second layer, hiding underneath the skin, flesh, etc.
-boiling.
something delightful - the soup, as the outcome.
(thru literal view, demonstrating the process of making a chicken soup"(the title)
scene 2 : figuratively.
person knows the meaning of the book/whats the book about.
so she takes on the figurative view.
she doesnt view it Superfically.
she then begins to read out "the rules for being human".
and maybe she tells a little story about herself?
and then the end shows a her face, and then she has an obvious birthmark.
which obviously makes people judge her.(being superficial)
something like that?
(thoughts in process)
